I was born in Canada in 1984, and now live and work near Asheville, North Carolina.  My work is primarily figurative, and deals with deeply personal subject matter, explored though autobiographical and external narratives, synthesizing inspiration from both inside and outside my self into expressions of personal vision.

My goal is the object of beauty, but that goal is achieved through complete engagement in process, and neither is worthwhile without meaning and intention.  Beauty is sometimes not pretty.  I seek to talk about the ordinary with the language of the sublime, to arrest with exquisite imagery and surface quality, but communicate deeper truths about my world and my self.
